This program will introduce you to Therapeutic Touch, an energetic, evidence-based healing modality developed by Dora Kunz, world class clairvoyant and past president of the Theosophical Society in America and Dolores Krieger, Ph.D. professor of Nursing at NYU. TT is an energetic interaction between two people in which one has the intention to assist another to heal.  During the process, the practitioner uses his or her hands to assess and balance the energy flow of the client, which allows or facilitates the client's healing process. A basic premise of TT is that "healing is a natural human potential" that can be developed and taught. The role of compassion, intention and the ability to center are key.

TT has a long history of application and research.  It promotes healing in numerous physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges.  TT is a safe, non-invasive treatment, for use by family members, lay people, and health care professionals. During this program we will demonstrate TT and explain the underlying assumptions and phases of the Therapeutic Touch process.

Therapeutic Touch offers the practitioner a perspective and tools to be a healing presence in the world.  We hope you will join us.

Cindy Cole, BA, QTTT, Jane Cornman, Ph.D. RN QTTT and Leonie Van Gelder BA, LMT, QTTT are members of the Theosophical Society and have been practicing and teaching TT for many years.
