Money, money, money. The way human society is currently constructed, there is no avoiding it. Those offering teaching, healing, counseling charge for their services. Those teaching spiritual truths have to decide for themselves whether they agree with statements such as "True spiritual teachers don't charge for their teachings." Modern day religious institutions often accumulate vast fortunes, and get mixed grades on their humanitarian use of the funds. There are so many questions. Does wealth come with responsibilities? Is it wrong to want to be rich? Does wealth inevitably corrupt people "as the root of all evil", or are there true philanthropists aligned with Humanity's evolution? I will try to answer these questions through research in the Esoteric literature of Theosophy, Alice A. Bailey, and Henry T. Laurency.
