Afterwards two friends challenged him that &ldquo \;everything you shared came from your ego.&rdquo\ ; Although inwardly denying this\, Leonard stared clearly at their accusation. He finally had to ack nowledged the truthfulness of it. "\;Immediate ly\, I had one of the strangest physical experienc es of my life. I felt my character armor crumble t o my feet. Ever since then I have continued surren dering at deeper and deeper levels\, much to the e nrichment of my life.&rdquo\; Within a year Leonar d was teaching and practicing his "\;Love-and- Forgiveness-Ego-Death-and-Surrender"\; therapy in Toronto\, Copenhagen\, and Frankfurt. Shortly thereafter\, Leonard felt a calling to teach and p ractice his spiritually based therapy in prisons\, which he&rsquo\;s done as a volunteer for 30 year s. During that time he has also taught at training centers in Canada\, Europe and the Canary Islands . At the conclusion of his sharing Leonard will gu ide us through some of his love &\; forgiveness exercises so that we can experience their healing benefit in our lives.\n \n Leonard Shaw has a Mas ters in Social Work from the University of Washing ton\, and is the author of &ldquo\;Love and Forgiv eness.
